Constallationss is about performance, contemporary net art, relational explorations, ceremonials encounters. It is a non-binary inclusive laboratory, an art of indetermination, but also a net sculpture as an elaboration of traces.
We are four women from different paths, generations and experiences.
We meet online to get tangled up in different objects and let unexpected forms emerge (words, images, drawings, videos, sounds)
For a day of experimentation each of us prepares a direction and offers it to the others.
We bring into play a personal interest, not to produce a piece or to further our own projects, but rather to question it, to make it move by the view of the others. We don’t have a specific goal: we wish to offer a challenge and a surprise to the others.
Each of us then organize on a shared website some traces of what has been explored. We call them “anarchives” (Erin Manning).
Since 2018, we have been experimenting with various forms of Muntu by sharing our feelings to the living and non-living worlds and crossing our relational experience of human, non-human and in-human: machine, stone, animal, cyborg, ghost, network, intuition…
With the care we give each other, we try to bring out feminist, queer and spiritual issues, a kind of non-conforming mandala made of reiterations and echoes.
For this residence An Unresolved Relationship, we propose four sessions of experimentations and a dedicated website where we will exhibit the traces of the processes and relations.
3G(enerations) is a group of four artists interested in conversations as a tool for entangled learning. Since 2018 they meet regularly in online research sessions where they lead each other through challenges and surprises on paths meant to upset habits and create links. In 2019 they wanted to share their process and wrote a methodology of what they call a non-binary inclusive laboratory for contemporary net art and performative & collaborative explorations.
